Product Specification:

AFP is a glycoprotein containing about 4% carbohydrate. AFP is produced by the fetal liver and is not normally expressed in adults. Diagnostically, it is a tumor marker for testicular, and hepatocellular cancer. Maternal serum levels are elevated when neural tube defects occur.
