Growth Hormone (GH)
| Catalog Numbers: | GH Standard Grade - 140S GH High Purity – 140A |
Product Specification:
Growth Hormone is an acidic, single-chain polypeptide composed solely of amino acids produced by the anterior pituitary. Pituitary gland derived hGH exists in phosphorylated, acetylated, glycosylated, and deaminated forms, as well as a 20 kDalton and a 22 kDalton variety. Serum derived GH is 22 kDalton. HGH has many functions in the body. As well as its effects on growth, it plays a part in carbohydrate, lipid, and protein metabolism. It also plays a role in the endocrine system and the release of insulin. Growth Hormone is available as standard grade (50%) and as High purity (95%)
