Swine production globally is second only to poultry in terms of tons of meat produced annually. It is set to increase dramatically in the next two decades as the global demand for meat increases particularly with the expansion of emerging economies in South America and Asia. A key measure of economic performance in swine is the number of viable piglets produced per sow per year. AAH has swine FSH and LH product concepts that have the capability to improve swine reproductive performance significantly by inducing and synchronizing ovulation to allow for timed insemination, and potentially increase litter size.
