We are developing a pipeline of six veterinary therapeutic drugs which we believe will be important new drugs for use in veterinary medicine for horses and two large livestock markets, cattle and pigs. AspenBio Pharma is also advancing in a strategic process to monetize its animal health business and related intellectual property.
Product Spotlight: One of our current focuses is the development of EquiPure-FSH™, a drug designed to help manage reproduction in the equine breeding industry. Horses are seasonal breeders and there is a tremendous economic advantage to the sport horse industry to have foals born early in the year. EquiPure-FSH™ is expected to provide the opportunity for breeding as early as February in a consistent and reliable manner. The market strategy includes an early launch of EquiPure-FSH™ in Argentina and Brazil followed by an FDA approval and U.S. launch.
